    Pros

Amazing cafeteria nicknamed Gapeteria, raffles and amazing employee discounts. An amazing view of downtown SF and the bay, aesthetically pleasing to be inside the building and overall the best company to work for.

    Cons

No cons to be honest, an awesome company to work for. A little far from BART but very manageable.

    Pros

Worked at a busy location, never really that bored
    Great employee discount of 50%
    Good benefits - RAVE points!

    Cons

    Tedious closing requirements
Crazy customers (for any retail job)
micro managers (based on this location)
GAP CARD! GAP CARD! GAP CARD!....every single day

    Advice to Management

trust employees with their duties, stop trying to get a raise by blaming it on employees, the more you push gap card the less people want to sell it, we needed more motivation (i.e. comission).

    Pros

-Easy work, anyone can do it

    Cons

    -Incompetent managers
-Low wages - don't expect much from a "raise"

    Advice to Management

I think managers need better training and/or HR needs to have higher standards when hiring.

    Pros

I felt like the company really valued my contribution to the company and all the time I had invested. Gap has a healthy employee discount and, from my experience, really valued its employees.

    Cons

Inconsistent hours, even for top employees. Our store had so many employees with different schedules and scheduling conflicts that having anything close to a consistent schedule was out of the question.

    Advice to Management

    Continue doing what you're doing.

    Pros

Flexible schedule. Fun co workers. Nice managers. Good lunch break policy. Barely any labor and the overall job is very easy.

    Cons

Weird customers. Some miscommunication. Clothes aren't for big people. The employees come and go like a rotating door so its alot of new people to get use to working with constantly

    Advice to Management

Stop the production of the pattern shirts for men. Most of them are ugly and sit there till final sale

Fantastic opportunities available for personal development. Decent benefits. Respectable and stable employer.
