    Pros

    Flexible work hours/use of PTO
Great benefits (premiums are covered for individual plans)
    Competitive salary

    Cons

No cons to report. All cons are site-specific and don't involve the company. As a contracted position, some things are out of corporate's hands.

I have been working at The Geneva Foundation full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

    Very nice people, good benefits

    Cons

They try to pay you as little as possible, annual increases occur after the first day of the new fiscal year and require 12 months of employment. My first day was 5/1. My first annual increase took 16 months. Little or no advancement opportunity (mostly due to contractor status).

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Not much to say. Although I am a full-time employee, my employment is dependent upon the continuation of contract funding, unlike full-time employees who run the company, manage contractors, and administer grant/contract funds.

I have been working at The Geneva Foundation full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

supportive supervisor, interesting project, high level of trust and respect for employees, friendly staff

    Cons

solo staff on project with very little communication with anyone else

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Monthly phone meetings or project updates with team at other sites would help unify everyone and make employees feel like an integral part of something, rather than flying solo. You really excel in your excellent respect for your employees and trust in their abilities...the opposite of micromanaging which is fantastic!

I have been working at The Geneva Foundation as a contractor (more than an year)

    Pros

    Great Benefits
    People within company are nice

    Cons

Not a lot of room for advancement / not enough career opportunities
Some people get promoted based on who they know and not skill
    High Turnover in main office
Contract company, so if the contract ends then there isn't always the ability to place them on another contract.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Hand out annual employee surveys to improve
Provide a path for employees to advance and further their skills

I have been working at The Geneva Foundation

    Pros

Because it is a small company, there is a sense of a family type atmosphere.

    Cons

This organization is based out of Washington State, so those of us in remote locations sometimes feel a bit disconnected.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Make more site visits to other locations so we feel a little more in the loop.
