    Pros

Awesome people who are very friendly and willing to help you succeed. Good pay but as with any internship be glad they pay at all! Great office space and facilities.

    Cons

At times it can be hard to find work, rarely is work super substantive but you need to prove yourself. Internship structure and programing could be stronger.

    Advice to Management

    N/A

    Pros

You can learn skills that transfer to PR/strat comm OR government relations OR anything involving research/writing/client service more broadly. Very nice offices/kitchen! They like to hire their interns full time. People are very well connected - my advice would definitely be to hit the ground running on networking/introducing yourself

    Cons

The work can be a bit redundant, as a part time intern it is easy to end up spending all of your time on weekly or biweekly deliverables or press clips without time for ad hoc projects. The facilities help is fine but I think the understanding that client work takes priority is sometimes missing in parts of leadership.

    Advice to Management

Build out the mentorship program, ask interns their interests and give them the opportunity to serve on a project team. Even if that team didn't need much work being on calls/more involved in day to day client operations would be really valuable.

    Pros

Interesting projects if you stick with the right people. Lots of people in the city have heard of Glover Park Group. Fun environment to work in, occasional happy hours.

    Cons

Very unstructured, hard to form bonds with staff. No one is directly overseeing you.

    Advice to Management

Pair interns with a handful of staff so they develop relationships

    Pros

Paid internship!!! The people are incredibly bright and always treated the interns with respect. The actual work is typical intern-level work, but the people are awesome and there are lots of chances to get involved with cool projects. Glover Park has a very open culture and higher ups are always open for questions/advice/contacts. Periodically there are also free sandwiches. Honestly the sandwiches alone would make the internship worthwhile.

    Cons

The intern role is not very structured and you have to be a jack of all trades (I found this to be a positive). You also have to stack drinks, maintain a clean kitchen, and do other various odd jobs. I honestly enjoyed this since it was a break from the everyday work.

    Advice to Management

More sandwiches!! Also a more structured intern training program(1-2 days of modules)/guidebook would be very helpful.
