ProsAn innovative boutique firm that fosters excellence as well as a caring approach. Amazing level of expertise in investigative research and sourcing that nets better results in search.

ConsThe only one I can think of is that it that the virtual, telecommuting structure may not work for everyone.

Advice to Senior ManagementKeep up the good work.

Former Employee – worked at The Good Search part-time for less than a year

ProsIt's a very tiny company but could have alot of potential because the CEO has great business contacts

ConsYou're very vulnerable to being treated at the whim of a CEO who is unpredictable and doesn't necessarily handle situations the right way, regardless of if she's in the wrong or not. Being that it's a tiny company you have no HR to protect you or anybody to back you up. The assignments she accepts are sometimes overembelished to the clients by her, because she doesn't really understand all the limitations of the work. The problems this causes falls back on the employees, who she then will blame for the issues this creates.

Advice to Senior ManagementBe consistent in what you say to prospective employees and what you promise, be careful of taking on tasks that aren't realistic, be patient and unerstanding with new employees, and take accountability for when you are in the wrong.

Proswork was virtual and autonomous. loved the team of people that I got to work with. easy to work with clients

Conssometimes working virtually was a little challenging with some people who may not have done it before. leadership was not always clear

Advice to Senior Managementmore realistic expectations of hires and would like to see more ownership given to a variety of people within the company
