Still a call center, some managers are still backstabbing and will not work with you or look for reasons to get rid of you
Advice to Senior Management
Get rid of the supervisors that don't let their employers get promoted! Find more ways besides "paper" to get people off the phone.
Pros
Benefits are really good. The work atmosphere in the Allentown office is nice. Not much corporate game playing. Dress code is casual. Some management is flexible.
Cons
Lack of room for growth. Hard to get information when tethered to the phone. It all comes down to metrics. Prior experience and education does not seem to have an impact on compensation. Stopped paying for professional education.
Advice to Senior Management
Listen to the people on the floor. You forget we are the first line and have a major impact on the business. Compensate better and stop outsourcing off shore. They cause more problems that we have to fix.
Pros
Good Benefits, Decent pay, Many nice people that work there.
Cons
Too many managers having their own agenda, careful do not step on anyone's toes, Back stabbing around every corner. Some of the managers just care about numbers, not quality.
Advice to Senior Management
Stop lying to the employees faces, Sub-contracting to IBM was a personal agenda that some one made a lot of money on and the employees suffered. When upgrading computers send the employees to training classes instead of a video. Do what is right for all, instead of the few who make half baked decisions don't think threw all the problems they are causing.
