    Challenging

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)
    Bronx, NY

ProsPlenty of opportunity to advance within the company. Benefit package is very nice. My department was family friendly, that can be hard to find.

ConsBiggest challenge is to be flexible as expectations can change daily. Can be a very fast paced and stressful job. You need a thick skin to work here.

Advice to Senior ManagementNeed to work on being more professional when delivering reprimand. They tend to do it in front of office staff, loudly in a demeaning fashion.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company

    Great place for college students

    Research Interveiwer (Current Employee)
    New York, NY

ProsA research interveiwer is a great job for college students who want a flexible and understanding work enviroment. The research department is a small department that involves research interveiwers, the program director, and then the doctors. If you are interested in research involving geriatrics, this is a great start to get hands on feild experience.

ConsThe managers at the research division need to be firm and communicate with workers who are not so productive. There are people who work in the department for years and do not do what they are supposed to. The friendly, familiy enviroment lends to managers who are non confrontational, and a place that lacks honest communication.

Great manager, awful experience working there

    Dietitian (Former Employee)
    Bronx, NY

    ProsGreat, competent manager.
Some friendly, well educated, cooperative, and understanding co-workers.

ConsIncompetent, incoherent, verbally abusive, barking nursing staff.
Constantly understaffed in all departments, including my own.
Place is too big and houses too many residents for the amount of workers it employs or available to work.
    Snobby, rude administrators.

Advice to Senior ManagementYou need a thorough reorganization from top to bottom.
Try getting some nurses and nursing assistants who don't bark and bellow every time they're spoken to.
