Cons

Advice to Senior Management
The Linde leadership should focus more on planning when it comes to the development of new technology. They tend to have a reactive approach to developing new business and rely on organic market growth instead of directed and targeted resource allocation.
Pros
Linde as a group is fine place to work with because of the project it handles. It enriches a persons skills and the experience adds a value.
Cons
The style of working is not upto the mark what a real EPC works like. The disparity in treatment to its employees, wide difference in pay scale for the persons of same capability and experience level. The unfair means like leg pulling and back biting adopted by employees to get promotion. Inefficient management to handle the projects effectively which results in employees working on weekends and for 12-14 hours on weekdays makes the place unbearable to work.
Advice to Senior Management
Set realistic targets. Strictly adhere to the standard man hours according to policy and to treat all the employees equally.
Pros
Pay is higher and more vacation awarded than industry average.
Office space is in a good location and really clean. Near shopping, restaurants and 2 major highways. Easy to get to and from work.
Cons
It is expected that employees not take their breaks. It's an unwritten rule and denied by management but in order to advance dont get caught on break other than 30 minute lunch.
Diversity is not accepted. Everybody is trained on how to think of things. Never speak your mind and agree with everything.
Senior management is insulting when employees do not perform. Verbal attacks by the most senior ranks ie: lazy, incompetant etc.
They work hard to burn you out and then toss you out.
Those who advance work very long hours and have no family time.
Coaching is non existant. You have the exact skills they need or you are shown the door.
Advice to Senior Management
Allow people to voice their true feelings and opinions without retribution.
Treat employees with respect and do not insult or belittle them.
Allow people to enjoy their work and have enough left over to enjoy their family time.
When your employees are sick allow them to take their sick days off without guilt.
Coach and develop your teams instead of taking the expertise they have and dismissing them when that skill is no longer required.
