    Pros

Good hours, flexible around student classes, get a meal for every shift you work. Work is easy.

    Cons

Calling or scheduling off is almost impossible, the pay sucks, head managers are inconsistent and play favorites, you get really sick of the food.

    Advice to Management

Treat everyone the same, change policy about calling and requesting off, be nicer to your employees.

    Pros

    - Salary has been reasonable and is generally open to negotiation
    - Excellent working environment, agreeable coworkers
    - Doing generally interesting and varied research work

    Cons

The OSU administration has recently been expecting more out of its full-time staff, including undergraduate mentorships, additional publications, and a higher class load -- without increasing pay.

    Advice to Management

Ohio State is certainly capable of adding more faculty to its roster, which would cut down on "factory classes" and allow for more quality research.
