I worked at The Proven Method full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Good benefits and compensation. As a contractor, I didn't work much with anyone in the Proven Method office. My experience with my contacts was excellent - especially Shelly!

    Cons

I do not have any cons for working with Proven Method

I have been working at The Proven Method full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

The team is great and everyone here has an extremely high level of competence, it's like a refreshing breath of air. Also free lunch on mondays is a plus!

    Cons

There aren't really any that I can think of. It really is a great place to work, and we are growing!

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I have been working at The Proven Method as an intern (less than an year)

    Pros

-No butheads. Everyone seems to get along really well
    -Convenient location (Buckhead)
    -Decent pay
-Not a lot of restrictions on how you do things (big plus as a developer)
    -Very little red tape
    -Lots of flexibility for emergencies
-Job security due to parent company
    -Great place to learn/practice AGILE/SCRUM

    Cons

-Extremely unfocused company. No clear direction
-'Upstairs' and 'Basement' folk know nothing about each other (despite what management may try to claim otherwise)
-Downstairs has large windows. They face a brick wall. Old building
-Security guard takes his job way too seriously. You'll understand the second you get there ...
-Extremely slow paced (until its not, then its fast paced)
-Office manager is ... eh ... not the friendliest person.
-Horrific marketing (Thankfully its being worked on)
-Due to job security from parent company, there seems to be a lot of complacency
-Office is seriously outdated. Pictures of technology from the 80's - Seriously? Thought were were 'cutting edge'? Don't think a framed photo of LISA next to a photo of a 1980's router is winning anyone over
    -ABSENCE OF COMPANY CULTURE.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get more involved. Give more direction. Help make this a fun place to work. The lack of sunlight and no energy in the office can really have an impact on day to day.

I have been working at The Proven Method full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

The environment is great...It is very laid back and casual. It's not the cut-throat environment that I am used to. The team is great to work with. The location is fantastic. The team is very helpful and wants everyone to succeed.
The Professional Services team is made of some of the smartest "techies" that I have seen. They are a traditional Agile shop working with the latest and greatest technology.

    Cons

The building itself is a little old. It looks like you took a step back into the 80's when you walk into the building. But if you are not looking for something flashy then it is perfect.

I have been working at The Proven Method

    Pros

Company does try and stop by to see how things are going periodically.

    Cons

It's a contract job so what can I say..

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Always try and find what the resources goals are and align them with a contract.
