Pros
You really learn a lot about the industry and how it works.
Cons
coming in to work when I didn't want to sometimes, gets slow during the winter seasons.
Advice to Senior Management
More company wide events to involve all departments.
Pros
Good managers throughout
average facilities
Good Parties
Training is on par with most of the industry
Regional Managers are very accessible
Cons
Low pay for hourly and salaried employees
incompetent upper management
Corporate leaders hire family and friends to run the company
Fees for everything
Poor communication between upper and middle management
Nothing cutting edge or over the top
Pros
The hours aren't bad and they let you take time off. Sometimes they are generous. The pay is fairly decent.
Cons
I completely disliked working here. I thought it was unfair the way I was treated. I heard opinions on things that would happen at Prudential California Realty in the Del Mar Heights area. The opinions I heard were that some of the things the company did tended to not be nice or completely upfront with others. So I recommend people I know to not apply to Prudential California Realty. I don't think the compensation is worth it.
Advice to Senior Management
Make sure all aspects of the business are fair. It is hard for everyone to advance a mission if there is mistrust. Give people notice if they will be fired and give them severance. It's the only way to be fair.
Pros
technology and advertising are excellent at the firm.
Cons
Economy has played a major factor with growth. Only advancement is to gain broker associate license. The fees involved are much compared to other brokerage firms.
Pros
I liked that the hours were flexible. I felt like there was a lot of community there. Nice perks, and good interview process.
Cons
eople didn't seem to take their work seriously. Location was horrible. Bad life / work balance. Quality of talent was not there.
Advice to Senior Management
Hire people that are qualified, not just for equality.
Pros
Fast pace upbeat work environment
Cons
Pay for management needs to inprove.
Pros
Unlimited growth in this field.
Cons
Long hours and very competitive.
Pros
Training and management are top level compared to others.
Cons
Large turn around of new agents.
Advice to Senior Management
More hands on training
Pros
Flexible schedule, understanding of family obligations, overall stable company, top real estate broker. If job is well completed, long term employment is possible.
Cons
Employee appreciation could be greater, need more staff at corporate level, could benefit from better organization and communication. No room for advancement.
Advice to Senior Management
Better value employees, welcome feedback from employees.
Pros
informative & instructional from the start.
Cons
things can slip through the cracks
Advice to Senior Management
see the plan through
