I worked at The SCOOTER Store full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

The FBI didn't close TSS. They found no fraud, and reported that to Medicare. They stopped funding. That was the issue, you should get facts straight.

    Cons

Medicare officials suck. Closed an amazing company for no good reason.

    Pros

The ability to help and be compensated while working with the disabled. Going to people's homes knowing that their lives were going to be different.

    Cons

Pay rate never changed over three years. Performance review yearly just for records. The company definitely was being compensated but not giving the people that fueled the margin a fair portion.Too many managers taking up all the margin.

    Pros

Awesome RSM (Regional Sales Manager), good product.

    Cons

Sales model pitted Inside Sales Reps vs. Outside Sales Reps and created a huge communications problem and the customer (doctors and patients) suffered.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

If TSS ever recovers from their financial woes, they could be a great company if they made the company more synergistic.
