I have been working at The Scienomics Group full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

Great people, Smart leadership, Keeps you busy & motivated

    Cons

Pay for coordinators if hired permanently is salary based & should be hourly

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

With the growth of business you must staff accordingly. Don't slip up on this because it caused a major drop in service.

I have been working at The Scienomics Group full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

Leadership now in place has an eye on the future with a hand in sigificant experience and client contacts. Focus includes allowing leaders within the organization to leverage their experience and work independently to grow teams, and yet leverage the support of the much broader Omnicom organization. The balance of those two areas is exceedingly difficult but managed quite well in this new structure. And, despite the new opportunities, the focus on work/life balance IS an actuality and not just an expression for recruitment....Seen it first hand.

    Cons

New employees filling the gaps due to new opportunites seem to be coming along much more slowly than the opportunities! Likely due to too many people impacted by the "old" reputation of this existing company with a very new dynamic and future.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep it going--keep open to new ideas as has been to date.

I have been working at The Scienomics Group full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

This company has good leadership, direction and stability. Growth is rapid, which has provided a lot of opportunity for learning, development and advancement.

    Cons

The growth is rapid- sometimes the workloads expand quicker than we're able to add staff.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Staff up more rapidly.
Focus on some of the 'softer' cultral elements that can make the work environment better.
Ensure work-life balance is a priority as we grow.

I worked at The Scienomics Group full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

I was responsible for meeting logistics in my position. I learned a great deal about meeting planning, venues and the work that it takes to create successful medical education meetings. I enjoyed many of my co-workers and made some great lasting friend ships while I was there.

    Cons

Management was splintered and at times there were too many chiefs. Without direct leadership it was difficult to understand what management desired. It created circumstances where there was an imbalance of work equity. As I understand it there was also mismanagement at the top of the company that resulted in a loss of income for the company. This resulted in widespread layoffs. Hopefully this has been corrected.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Equity of work is important. Also, when there are multiple complaints from staff on the front lines regarding the automated call system they should be taken seriously. Technology is great but a pact of understanding needs to be made between those implementing the system and those that have to use it. This can be applied to any new processes implemented by management.

I worked at The Scienomics Group

    Pros

Good people that work there, helpful and team players.

    Cons

Senior management has no idea what they are doing. They come up with ideas that they think are good, but just end up pissing off our clients. These ideas are terrible from the get go, but they are not competent to identify that. They also are quick to take credit for the good and blame the mid and lower level employees for mistakes.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Listen to your employees who are on the front lines, dealing with the clients.

    Pros

Great work/life balance. Very supportive staff members.

    Cons

Viability of company relied on one major client.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Seek opportunities to extend the services to companies outside of the established clientele.
