    Pros

    employee discount, getting really cheap games/electronics as they go on clearance, and if you have a down to earth manager (getting harder to find by the way) a very happy environment

    Cons

    all management above your store manager has way to high expectations and does not live in the real world. they are told by bell what do to even if it wont work or makes no sense but they never question it, which when it comes down to you and it doesnt work guess who gets blamed (hint its not bell)

    Advice to Management

    dont be a "yes man" if something is not right look into it and apply a real solution not a 10 minute temporary fix. not everyone who walks into a store is going to buy a phone and i cant tell you have many customers ive lost due to pushy management. if you want to work here i suggest finding a smaller more remote store as the environment is much more friendly then a mall store. mall stores have the highest pressure and it shows when you talk to the staff.

    Good benefits, good discounts, good environment

    Cons

    Very stressful due to commission structure, employer will pressures to sell more phones.

    Advice to Management

    Talk to managers need to make work place less pushy.

    Good training, learn a lot about tech and products, good team members, calling to head office was always a pleasure due to the members working there

    Cons

    High expectations, training is good but not everyone receives the same so there is confusion on some things, can have long hours (12 hour days)

    Pros

    Strong company culture, freebies at events. charity work

    Cons

    Management seems very solid from the outside, but when you've been there for a while you start to learn how mismanaged and weak they are. Very political, low compensation; company is struggling- we were told by numerous leaders how the company is growing, yet we find out later how sales are down and Bell is not happy. Communication is not clear. Very high turn over of sales staff including leaders, people are completely disposable to this organization. It's very difficult to move up in this organization because of the politics involved, you have to be someone that is on the "good" side of managers/directors for any kind of positive recognition or any chance at career advancement. There are alot of clicks and groups that segregate people.

    Advice to Management

    Managers need to notice their staff more carefully. There are some employees who put in zero effort, and others who work extremely hard, and somehow there is a repeated pattern of those who do nothing that are the ones who get the recognition. Upper management needs to take a closer look at how the middle managers are truly managing their people.

    Pros

    I had a good experience. The management was very friendly and looked after the employees. They were very flexible in the hours that I worked.

    Cons

    Sometimes too relaxed, though there were definitely not many cons that I can think of. Sometimes become too competitive between employees when trying to make sales for commission.

    Advice to Management

    I don't really have much advice. Continue doing what you're doing and make sure the employees feel like they are respected.

    Pros

    Good learning experience; lots of sales training that is very helpful; good pay (base salary+commission)

    Cons

    Too much pressure; store manager push too hard. Sometimes just want quit and never come back. Customers are not interested in getting new phone but the manager ask us to sell anyway

    Advice to Management

    more training to store manager. Most of the store managers are very successful in sales, but they cannot manage people. And they are bad at dealing with relationships
