I have been working at The Tutoring Center part-time (less than a year)

    Pros

Working with all the students is very rewarding. You also get to work with different students on different subjects, so it doesn't get boring.

    Cons

Sometimes it feels like the students work with so many tutors that there is discrepancy, and it is hard to make substantial progress quickly.

I worked at The Tutoring Center part-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Management is very accommodating and allows for Tutors to set up their schedules. The subject expertise of the tutor is taken into account when assigned to certain stations. Not overly challenging and seeing the results of the students is very rewarding.

    Cons

Pay is somewhat low despite certain skills/test scores of the Tutors. The hours are limited, but as a college student this can be beneficial as it's a good side job to have.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep up the good work, it is wonderful to see feedback between management and employees.

I have been working at The Tutoring Center part-time (more than a year)

    Pros

First of all, this company believes in ongoing training to help you succeed in your position. They are by far one of the best tutoring companies I have ever worked for and they really care more about the children rather than making a profit. The hours are very flexible if you are looking for a part time position and now they even offer full time positions because they are open 6 days a week.

    Cons

none. for people who work another job the hours may be a bit odd but it's great for college students and college grads who want to help the children in their community.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Keep up the great work!
