    Pros

    Employee discounts, some skilled and wonderful co-workers. Interesting location - Meat Packing District.

    Cons

    No infrastructure or clear pre-production process to support employees, which causes the tech department to end up with overwhelming amount of responsibilities. Set up for failure - you are expected to do the "right thing" - read the ever-changing management´s mind - while churning out insane amount of work. Unmanageable and unrealistic expectations, with no appreciation for the efforts. Management "asks" its employees for "favors" of extra workloads, etc. with empty promises. It is common for employees to stay til 10pm all the time.

    Advice to Management

    This is no longer a tiny moms n pops shop. Take some management classes and establish a clear process.

    Pros

    Great "BRANDING" Great "NYC DISTRICT" HQ are located in the Meatpacking district .... Amazing Facilities Manager :)

    Cons

    Pretty much everything else is bad. They have no cubicles so everyone is exposed. NO privacy.... You are cramped up in one area sitting 2 or 3 inches away from a co-worker that is involved in a completely different role then you are. I have counted 5 Supervisors do not train you. Supervisor will make decisions for your on your career without even letting you know what their plan is for you. They don't consult with you to advise to you that they will be moving you to a different location. Upper management is simply stated in one word: MESS IT SUCKS!

    Advice to Management

    Reward your employees and Appreciate them. Don't treat them like crap! Upper Mgmt needs to have "CLEAR Communication" and respect other people's time. Have better time management.

    Pros

    The discount and clothes are pretty good. You only get the good discount on 5 pieces per season though.

    Cons

    Horrible hourly; management; micro managing; misplaced responsibility; no employee appreciation; over worked employees; being talked down to; no incentive for doing over and beyond your expectation, but definitely penalties if you don't; senior employees are treated and paid like new employees; no trust; attitude is given when you ask to go on a 10min break or lunch break; favoritism is ramped; misplaced aggression from management; job threatening is constantly spewed by management... I could go on!

    Advice to Management

    Grow up and take responsibility for your store and don't all the blame and pressure on your under paid and over worker employees.

    Pros

    Some of the people were very interesting to learn from.

    Cons

    They treated you like you didn't matter. You didn't get paid fair- although I've heard they have changed the pay due to lawsuits.

    Advice to Management

    Pay your interns and remember they are people too.

    Horrible management Dead end Mediocre pay Worst HR staff I've ever encountered Worst payroll staff I've ever encountered Condescending managers, favoritism, the list goes on and on...

    Advice to Management

    With managers who actually treat people with dignity and respect this would be a slightly better place to work. It's pretty hard to work at your best for someone who treats you like crap unless you brown nose your way into their good graces...

    Great clothing discount ( 62.5)

    Cons

    Ever changing and stifling wardrobe guidelines and requirements. Low pay scale. No formalized clientelling book or process. Job expectations conflict strongly with culture and values. Aggregate Personal budgets of store associates exceeds the store's projected annual budget. Store layout makes floor coverage impossible so there are often too many associates on duty for the amount of business on any given day. The summery of which creates a lot of infighting, hostility and general catty behavior.

    Pros

    Employee discount is really great, good benefits, clothing allowance to rep the brand, luxury environment/clientele, that is about it

    Cons

    No work/life balance WHATSOEVER Overworked/underpaid Highly unappreciative of employees who show passion and true desire to see business succeed Upper management created hostile work environment for employees

    Advice to Management

    Learn to VALUE your employees. Unless you give motivated employees something to believe in, they will motivate themselves to find a new job and you'll be stuck with whoever's left.

    Invest in developing employees and strive for a more positive environment with less stress since it filters down.

    Pros

    received clothing allowance once every 3 months and got a great discount.

    Cons

    there was no employee appreciation, i went above and beyond for the company worked for 4 years called out 3 times even volunteered to work on my days off, yet not one thank you. being talked down to, like i was worthless and did nothing for them. any ideas to increase profit were shot down.you cant trust anyone you work with because at the end of the day they only care about themselves, and will throw you under the bus if they have too. TERRIBLE SENIOR MANAGEMENT STAFF. completely unprofessional.

    treat your employees with respect. change senior management staff, they are unprofessional and dont know how to do their job.

    Advice to Management

    I loved working here until they hired management that was dishonest, manipulative, and disrespectful to employees, as well as unprofessional/disrespectful when it came to providing customer service. The same can be said of the upper management. Many people who worked for this brand for years have either left or have been fired in order for new management to bring "their people" in, who have proven to be laughable at best. It's too bad since it is a great contemporary brand.
