ThinkHR is a fast growing HR technology firm...with a human touch. Plenty of opportunity, well funded, quality leadership, in a pretty part of the Bay Area. I'm a big fan.

Fast growth is a challenge if you don't grow fast!

    Advice to Management

Keep up the good work. Do a better job of letting applicants understand the culture and opportunity...because its great!

    Pros

I truly enjoy working at ThinkHR. I've been here since May 2011 and during my tenure, my HR knowledge has grown exponentially and continues to grow each day. When the Founder sits down with you (in the lunch room) and genuinely asks if you are still learning, I know I'm at a place that values me as a person as well as an employee who contributes to the company. The company is continually making strides to improve and make ThinkHR an enjoyable place to work; from having work social events/contests (cubicle decorating contests, Ugly Sweater Contests, etc.), to bringing in lunch every day. It's the small things that sometimes show employees that management is listening.

    Cons

I can't think of a reason why I don't like working here...like most companies in the start up phases, there can be growing pains while things are being figured out.

    Pros

Great technology, lots of momentum, awesome people to work with, food daily, good benefits, nice location just to name a few. I can't say enough about the culture at this company. People really are the jewel of this company. They have had great employee retention and everyone cares about what they're working on. Am very, very happy to call this place my home.

    Cons

Growing pains - I can't blame the company. They did the right thing. They kept frugal to build the business, get customers, formulate a great culture, bring in revenue, and now are ready to grow the business. A lot of work is required to help launch the company but this is to be expected.

    Advice to Management

Continue to do what you are doing as it's working. Am pleased with the executive team, the corporate employees and field organization.

    Pros

The company is startup and they are doing well. There is lots to do, so I have been given a lot of responsibility to making my own decisions on quite important projects (to me anyway!-) dealing with facilities problems, selecting and buying new PCs, copier contracts. I'm learning how to do email marketing. Its great.

    Cons

My student loan isnt getting any smaller and I'm still living at home. Pay is nothing to write home about. But I guess its about the same for any first time position.

    Advice to Management

We need a bigger kitchen area and better office furniture.
