    Pros

High quality teachers and instructors; students polite, professional, and invested in their education. Course options include physical as well as online programs geared towards providing a good education for students of many backgrounds, needs, and circumstances.

    Cons

Like many institutions in the United States, there is a tendency to hire adjuncts rather than full-time instructors.

    Pros

Great schedule, friendly people, excellent commitment to student education.

    Neutral Outlook

I have been working at Thomas Nelson Community College full-time

    Pros

High quality education, generally good and helpful instructors, convenient location, excellent academic programs that enable a student to transfer directly into a university program

    Cons

The bureaucratic infrastructure affects progress and processing of paperwork, management does not follow their own policies and procedures and does not exhibit fairness and equity amongst their employees (many hold some employees to certain standards, but do not apply the same standards to others), many of the buildings are severely outdated

    Advice to Management

Put aside the politics and realize that these students are not the same as university students. You must take in consideration their life struggles when not only presenting the material but for the expectations as well.

Respect & support from upper management for the people they hired to encourage their ability to make good decisions for the college on a whole. The best opportunity on the market today with the administration that is in place.

    Cons

None at this time. This school is TOPS!

    Advice to Management

    Thank you for the support!
