Good company for people who are not career oriented.

Lead QA (Current Employee) Bangalore (India)

ProsI am part of Thomson Reuters Bangalore since 2009. It has relaxed work culture especially in QA. Most of the QA work is regression testing which involves only execution. Hence it is well suited for people who are looking for 9 to 5 job. Employees can avail lots of leaves. Decent perk but not great. Employee may have good growth (Not great) if employee impresses manager.

ConsExtremely slow growth. Lots of politics. Promotion will be given only for those who are close to managers. No onsite. Even if there is onsite it will be very rare and for people who has good rapport with manager. No development projects at Bangalore. All are maintenance work. Employees will be bored of same work every day for years together. Not a suitable for people who are looking to start their career.

Advice to Senior ManagementPlease do not loose talented people.
