Pros

Fly approximately 500 hrs/year, significantly less than easyJet/BA. Airline large enough to have plenty of opportunities for different types of flying yet small enough so you're not just a number.

Regional bases plus good pay and excellent benefits sets Thomsonfly apart from many other airlines.

Cons

Company is currently trimming it's fleet after merging with First Choice Airways, meaning career progression is slower than expected (i.e. promotion to Capt), however benefits such as Final Salary pension scheme and years spent as First Officer counting towards Capt's annual salary increments negate this somewhat.

Company is rather disorganised and seems prone to making a complete hash of IT and administrative matters. Holiday and flight concessions not bad, but difficult to access because crappy staff services dept.

Advice to Senior Management

Don't forget the employees and don't forget this is a seniority based airline with collective representation.
