    Cons

1.For employee empowerment certification budget is less. It should be more ,as it is good for company if employees are more certified. 2.Weekely training sessions should be there on new technologies as all clients wants to work with new technologies. 3.Some certifications should be mandatory within probation period of employee. As it will increase the confidence of employee and company name in market.

    Pros

I started my career as a Fresher here and almost completing 4 years with ThoughtFocus family. That is not a mere statement but a strong work culture backed by people friendly, fun loving environment. People around are very warm and approachable. I personally feel that this is one of the best places to start one's career because the organization provides a platform to facilitate great learning, exposure and opportunities that knock on your doorstep provided you're ready to grab them. The organization right now is at a right size to identify, encourage the talented resources and value each person’s individuality.

    Cons

A few policies and procedures here and there have to be put in place to ensure each entity is functioning in coordination with the other.

    Pros

    1. Start up - It's a start up and hence provides ample opportunities to whoever wants to learn things an implement thoughts and ideas. 2. Open door policy - There is a lot of transparency and everyone is easily accessible. If you want you can talk to anyone in the management and put your points across. 3. Growth Opportunities - There are ample growth opportunities here for someone who is sincere enough. 4. Cab Service - Company provides free cab service. 5. Work Timings - Company has an 8 hour shift as opposed to 9 hours. 6. Less Work Pressure - There are very less instances when you have to stretch. Project timelines are not that critical like in project based companies. 7. On Job Training - Company encourages it's employees to do on the job training and certifications. There is program through which company sponsors your certifications. 8. Bonus - Each employee is eligible to receive an annual bonus. Which is a good amount.

    Cons

    1. Since the company is in the start up phase there are less processes and more dependency on people. 2. Although the cab service is free, it makes people complacent.

    Pros

Good salary for starters or college pass outs

    Cons

    • Limited Transport Cabs • After 6 months, confirmation hike is only given to select people • Annual hike is given as per Center Head's mood. No rating system whatsoever and you can't get it per your year's hard work • They keep selling "Blackstone" to everyone. This is actually a BACKOFFICE for Blackstone. Even business role are only doing manual excel jobs which could be easily automated • Facility manager keeps requesting people to drop female staff first so he could save on guards

    Advice to Management

    • Stop hiring your "relatives and family members" coz most of them are not eligible for the positions given to them and are so incompetent • The promotions are only given to them and there is no growth for others at this company • The center head keeps saying "adjust" as this is a start-up firm but we have been hearing it since we started here and adjust on number of cabs, seating, pantry, parking and everything that you can think of • He is so unprofessional and "unapproachable" that I wonder how Blackstone management is actually putting up with him • I think it is time he should start thinking about his actions and start appreciating people for their "hard work"

    Pros

There is no pro to mention

    Cons

It's family business. Top and middle management are either family members or college mates. No scope of growth for outsiders. Outsiders keep away from this company and don't come here after leaving better organizations you working with.

    Advice to Management

Wake up and listen to all employees and be equal opportunity company than family and friends company.

    Pros

    1. Shift Hours - 8 Hours. 2. Cab Facility is available.

    Cons

    1. Biasing tops the list and all the other points just revolve's around this one. 2. No matter how good you are if you are not from the family side of the center head then your opportunities are limited. 4. You will always feel frustrated about the fact that you are working with a set of incompetent managers\leads who doesn't even know how to speak in English and yet they are favored over you. 5. Improper forecasting and resource management by the Top Level management. 6. Lack of infrastructure. Infra is only provided to people who don't really need it. 7. Policies - We don't have any policies here. What ever center head feels should be done is a policy next day. You find a loop hole in the policy and it's no longer valid anymore. 8. No training opportunities. 9. No opportunity to cross scale yourself and learn new stuff. 10. No onsite opportunity unless you are from family side of the top management. 11. Your Growth Plan - Well there is none and that what the management will tell you when you go ahead an ask them.

    Advice to Management

Think about this, if one person has problem with you then he/she might be a problem. If two people have problem they might be wrong but if the no. exceeds 3 then probably you are problem. You should accept the fact you are incompetent and want get a job outside this company so you will have to savor the current setup and not try to tear it apart. Stop doing favors to your family members and start focusing on quality resources while you still have them.

    Pros

Nothing good at all except the office location.

    Cons

    1) I would suggest people to stop treating experienced people as freshers. Things like asking for daily status mails and queries on mails should not be encouraged. Its always better to solve queries and doubts face to face. 2) There should be a proper communication regarding what is expected out of a new joinee. New joinee should be introduced properly to the team mates (both onsite and offshore) and should be a part of every meeting. 3) Managers should consider having one on one session atleast once with the new joinee. 4) Lead should know on what platforms their applications are built upon. Eg : Hedgesphere is a Java Based Application 5) Transport coordinators should make sure that the employees reach their home comfortably and the routes should be as per employees convenience. 6) Juniors should focus on their work rather than buliding personal relationships with their seniors. 7) Ergonomics of workplace needs to be improved, especially lighting, as improper lighting leads to eye issues.

    Advice to Management

    Need to improve work culture..
