Ok but after a year you get tired of the drilling from management and their lack of support.

    Sales Associate (Current Employee)

ProsThe bonus on sales and staff sim are good incentives but that's as far as it goes.

ConsConstant changes you have to keep up, unpaid half hours for morning briefing/evening cleaning and pos changes, management unable to be professional. Management putting constant pressure on you when they are unable to see that if they're supported staff differently they would perform better. It's about going to work feeling good about it not as if you're about to walk into a slaughterhouse full of zombies.

Advice to Senior ManagementSome area managers shouldn't be allowed to take decisions on matters on the basis of being flirted with by shop management. Management in store should be trained before dealing with staff and keep professional. Too many times we've had to hear them speak behind other people's backs, call them names and even got to the point where I was once told I was not allowed to speak until given permission.

ProsIt's like going to work within your extended family, a laugh, a giggle, a fun working environment. Staff are thought of highly and recognition is always put in place. Plenty of training and exciting new opportunities to grow within the company.

ConsSometimes there is a lot of pressure put on you when staffing issues occur.

The experience was good. It is a good place for someone who is going to work in the retail environment.

    Assistant Store Manager (Former Employee)
    Edinburgh, Scotland (UK)

ProsThe salary was one of the best if you are working part time or in lower positions.

ConsThe promotion structure is good but you can expect small increment in salary were as an outside candidate gets paid more than you.

Advice to Senior ManagementControl on unrealistic targets and focus on employee satisfaction

    Awful

    Inbound Sales Advisor (Former Employee)
    Glasgow, Scotland (UK)

    ProsStruggling to think of any

    ConsTwo faced management
Management do not listen to staff - Head manager motto is "If you are not happy then do one and go work somewhere else"
    Job is a complete joke
Spend all day receiving transfers from existing customers who have no idea why they have been passed to you and expected to sell something to them.
Poor salary and bonus structure compared to other call centres
Career progression goes to friends of the management rather than the hard working successful sales people that deserve it.
ever changing shift schedules which they can never get right

Advice to Senior ManagementPointless they know the job is a joke and cover it up with excuses

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company
