I worked at Three Fountains full-time (less than a year)Pros
Mandatory living at the mobile home park - home and utilities are paid for by the company; not having to drive to work, so you save gas. Other co-workers are great.Cons
Less than minimum wage pay; people get fired every month - most people do not make it a year to take the one week vacation or get the $100 monthly raise. Only holidays are Christmas, New Years day and Thanksgiving day and no sick or personal days. Punch in early okay - they don't pay, but if you punch in one minute late, you get a written reprimand and docked...Have to wait until 5pm on payday to get your check because they are scared you will get check and leave. If you get fired or quit, they hold your check until you are out of the home - you have 5 days if fired, or must leave immediately if you quit. Then they deduct for not cleaning the home even if you cleaned - $100 deduct for not shampooing the carpet - even though you moved in and it had stains or even if they replace it after you're gone. Everyone walks around worrying that they are the next to be fired. The company always has an ad in the paper for maintenance and in this economy, gets those of us who are financially strapped. The owner drives around the park after hours to nosy into what you're doing on your after work, personal time. Maintenance manager doesn't know what he is doing - will throw you under the bus to save himself.Advice to ManagementAdvice
Treat your employees fairly. Keep your word - don't tell them to come to you if there is a problem and then when they do, you hide and not return phone calls. Pay fair wage.
