better training!! I did not have much training, i had to figure everything out myself. some employees get trained well others get trained by newly trained people.
Pros
Its an easy job that offers more hours than most retail companies do.
Cons
Very little pay with much responsibility, constantly being expected of more and more when doing your best possible job.
Advice to Senior Management
They are franchises, I wasn't happy with the leadership at my particular workplace but everywhere is different its a fairly easy job and can be fun depending on who your working for.

Advice to Senior Management
Tim hortons is a household name, I loved working there and would come back. Not a reason not to.
Pros
Great people to work with, very easy going, very flexible in the scheduling, some tim hortons have great incentives to keep up the good work.
Cons
It differs between locations but generally management are slow thinkers and the advancement opportunities seem to be more in the favorite category not based on performance.
Advice to Senior Management
Post future positions in the breakroom and give equal opportunity for the rest of the staff, and management need training on critical thinking instead of just standing there looking at the position chart.
Pros
- Consistent hours
- Free coffee and donuts
Cons
- Management blatantly plays favourites
- Insufficient training for new employees
- High turnover
- Lack of training at every level of management

Advice to Senior Management
Hire management with experience running a franchise, monitor your supervisors, treat all employees the same!
Pros
