Pros
If you are someone who likes to work in a fast paced environment then Tim Horton's is the place to be. The hours are flexible for those who need flexibility. Working as a team has its benefits as well. You also meet a lot of interesting people both customers and other co-workers.
Cons
You are on your feet a lot. There is also the issue of gossip which there tends to be a lot of. Staff turnover happens a lot as well. Not everyone is cut out for the fast paced environment.
Advice to Senior Management
To give more "pats on the back" for the employees who are doing their job well. Thank you for a job well done goes a long way to making staff feel they are respected and valued.
Pros
The other employees I had the pleasure of working with were amazing. I've met some of my life long friends through this job. It's also made me appreciate how hard I have to work to earn things in life.
Cons
Management is the biggest issue. They are not trained on how to properly manage a store. They take employees work ethic for granted and only criticize, they don't help you improve.
Advice to Senior Management
Treat your employees better. You need to motivate them. For a lot of people this is their first job ever, you need to work with them, not talk at them.
