I have been working at Tim Hortons

    Pros

Decent job with flexibility and some co-workers are fun.

    Cons

Unfortunately a lot of drama caused by the drug-addicts and management changed over to people who couldn't do a basic job of an employee.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Make sure everyone is treated fairly and talking down to people encourages them to find a new job. Trust me. DRUG TEST PEOPLE!!!

I have been working at Tim Hortons full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Get out at 3/330pm. Office work is easy to learn

    Cons

must work shift yourself if you can';t find coverage. This includes overnights and days off. Early start. Don't bother to apple if you can't wake up early or get to work on time.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

hard to make suggestions because you get shut down right away because higher than management is close minded.

I worked at Tim Hortons part-time (more than a year)

    Pros

I would have to say free coffee was the best part of this job. Also you can make good friends.

    Cons

The manager, some of the customers and little pay. You don't make enough to work as hard as you do.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Make a positive atmosphere. Don't be negative and always lift up employees instead of tearing them down. Pay employees better wages.

I worked at Tim Hortons full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

coffee? I don't drink coffee so it wasn't for me

    Cons

too many food and drink choices. I'm a fast learner and I still didn't know all the possibilities. Some things aren't even on the menu, like at all. Training videos are good but impossible to fully remember. No room for advancement.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Fire ppl that are not productive and refuse to listen to you.

I have been working at Tim Hortons

    Pros

Treat employees right, good hours, good management, nice regulars, environment, interesting jobs to learn, free coffee, pay, clean, uniforms, relaxed policies, free donut each day, 50% discount, not much micro management, willing to work with you

    Cons

customers are downright terrible, storefront is set up weird. waking up at 5am, part of life though. training wasn't too detailed, but honestly helped you to just dive in and overcome the pressure.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

cheer up and you aren't getting that 25 second drive time because of the customers who can't learn how to order. lol
