Pros
The benefits that are provided are the only reason I am still employed here. The health benefits are very good and the fringe benefits can be of use from time to time.
Cons
Very poor pay for the work that we perform, and constant over booking. Management does not seem to understand how work is actually accomplished on a day to day basis. They seem to sit at meetings all day long figuring ways to make the stakeholders happy and not the employees.
Advice to Senior Management
Treat your field employees with more respect and dignity. We are work very hard to make this company a shining example for everyone. We are out in the freezing cold and sweltering heat bringing high quality, high tech services to customers. Treat the customer facing employees with more respect than we currently receive.
Pros
Free Cable, and employee help each other
Cons
Bad management, Time Schedule not good.
Advice to Senior Management
Be fair to employees
Pros
Benefits are outstanding
Community involvement is great
Cons
compensation could be more competitive
Advice to Senior Management
Listen to employee feedback in all areas of concern
Pros
they treat people good but they are very don't pay good but is good place place work in if you don't mnd
Cons
they treat people like bad and they don't offer any solutions to employees solutions and they just such and very ignorant
Advice to Senior Management
just do things in different way if at you would like to keep employees at any time and for future of comapy
Pros
Benefits are good, including free cable and roadrunner
Pay is decent for this area of the country
Plenty of opportunity to grow professionally and career-wise as long as you can relocate and are self-motivated
Cons
Due to restructuring there is limited growth potential at the local division
Company seems to prefer hiring from outside to fill positions instead of developing internal candidates
Advice to Senior Management
Realize that communication with and listening to your employees will result in a better company than what is there currently. Stop hiring from outside the company, it hasn't led to better management or more loyal employees, it just creates churn because existing employees are dissatisfied and the people from outside feel no loyalty to the company. Spend more time developing your employees. We are already here and want to see the company do well.
Pros
The benefits are solid (medical, dental, vision, 401k, and pension) and the pay is also respectable.
Cons
There is a very limited opportunity for advancement
Advice to Senior Management
There needs to be more career development
Pros
Free cable and company car. They have some the newest technology and do try to stay ahead of the curve.
Cons
Management was not in tune to what was needed to be to advance projects in a positive manner. Not every employee was treated equal.
Advice to Senior Management
You cannot allow the same careless choices and decisions made by middle management to continue without addresses the situation promptly.
Pros
benefits which include healthcare and the free cable service other than that nothing else at all
Cons
lack of family time- always on call- never get to take a real vacation without worrying that you will lose a sale- management are never around when you need help - pay isnt that great no base pay- always afraid that anything you do that your always under a microscope - if you make to much money they will try to get rid of you wouldnt recomend this job of any sales position to anyone they always hire outside the company instead of giving internal employees a chance
Advice to Senior Management
be there for your employees and give more support when they need it
Pros
Good environment to work in. People always willing to help if you ask.
Cons
Still growing, could be better in areas of improving training for the staff as people are always willing to learn. Training is promoted but not always advertised to everyone.
Advice to Senior Management
Keep expanding
Pros
Great people, benefits, gym, cafe' cable benefits.
Cons
Limited ability to move up within department/company
Politics "boys club"
Advice to Senior Management
Be more involved within your team/department. Know how to do the job so you can be a better boss/vp.
