    Pros

Co-Workers, this was just a pit stop to get a paycheck (very low) until I found my desired position.

    Cons

Infrastructure is very unprofessional, I felt like I was in the midst of those who couldn't find another position and landed here. It is gosh awful.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop gathering around talking, and never available to assist your team. Such a horrible environment.

I have been working at Time Warner Cable full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

    Good pay and great benefits

    Cons

Sales goals are unattainable, hired to be an enterprise account manager and not one of the customer billed over $1,000 a month (and most - 90% billed under $100). Not sure of their version of Enterprise but this is an SMB customer). Was told I would have protected accounts and nothing could be farther from the truth, the company works on a wild west approach. If you have been there for years and can lock in the few good customers you will last but 90% of the people hired in my training class (40 employees throughout the Ohio region are now gone) I have never seen a more burn and churn amount in a sales staff - saw lots of tenured, veteran telecommunications professionals from multiple other organizations where they were successful get churned over at Time Warner. The management stays in place and they just keep churning the sales staff. Its all about numbers and who cares about the customer. Would not recommend if looking for a career.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Set correct expectations when hiring and maybe do exit interviews with employees to learn why the turnover at least in sales is so heavy.

I have been working at Time Warner Cable (more than 10 years)

    Pros

None' they have been eliminating anyone who needs FMLA in violation of the law. "Fact not fiction." I am still employed but have not worked. These people are liars. They will always find a way to "take back" the bonuses they pay. Not only that, they have a "no fault attendance policy" and continuously violate the FMLA Statute and Regulations. Hence, your production will suffer because they will hold the protected absences against you in direct violation of the law. The courts are not sanctioning these employers on a regular basis either.

    Cons

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop breaking the law and stop lying about the benefits. Again, they will use protected absences against you to keep the money you earned...the courts have no sympathy, i.e. they will win because "bonuses" are not guaranteed. As long as they treat everyone the same...you have no recourse in court REGARDING BONUSES. The bonuses is how you make your money!!!!!
