I worked at Time Warner Cable full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Depending on your title and location everyone's schedule and environment is different. But for everyone great benefits and perks. Awesome insurance, free cable, Internet and phone, and after only a few months I had 5k in my 401k.

    Cons

If your a tech...it is hard. There are a lot of demands for field ops. You often work 4 10-hour days, rain or shine. You get help when you can but often other techs are too busy to offer much. It can be too demanding for some, after the 1st year, only 3 were left from my training class.

    Advice to Management

Get the field guys more help. Bump up the pay. Continue all the good benefits and perks, and the progressive training.

At this moment I cant really think of anything negative about the company. Every company has its issues, but this company does a good job at taking care of its employees.

    Advice to Management

Keep on doing what you are doing. You seem to know whats going on in your company. We look forward to where you plan on taking the company in the next few years.

    Pros

good benefits, stable company. In general positive environment

    Cons

Don't expect good money, at least starting-mid level positions. Hard to advance career within same department Minimal usage of modern cutting edge technologies (more likely you will use MS office, some basic BI tools)
