    Pros

    Pay and compensation was OK.

    Cons

Brutal working conditions. No air conditioning in the warehouse because "those guys don't matter". Constantly threatened to be fired and then finally got laid off, rehired and laid off again. This company didn't personify the "we are all family" environment that Timken said it valued.

    Pros

Fair pay, great senior management, great benefits. Always found the senior management to have time to talk about any problems

    Cons

Lower level managers were rectums. The company seemed to have too many lower managers who were seemingly rewarded for their tenure, not their ability.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep doing what they are doing.

Former Employee - Engineering Intern in Houston, TX

    Pros

    -Moderate intern pay
    -Can learn something
    -SOME of the people

    ...thats about it

    Cons

Office politics are quite ridiculous! As an intern I was told that i was laughing too much... obviously some people weren't happy and didn't want me to be happy.

Also some of the engineers were high on their expectations for interns. Most interns don't have a lot of industry experience but the staff at this site obviously didn't understand that. I seen an intern get yelled and scolded at for not knowing how to do something... they should have more realistic expectations for an intern.

Overall its probably a decent company but I would never work at this location. You have to "kiss ass" to keep your job and move up.
