I have been working at Toro Company full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

Love the company culture and the working environment. Reasonable expectations from every employee. Toro pushes quality of products, services and employee output.

    Cons

This Company subsidies pay increases with Company Culture. Great Culture however, long-term employment at Toro does not get the kids thru College. Too many good employees lost to unheard request for pay for performance. Toro “Talks” a good game in regards to opportunity however, for Mid/Senior level management; however, there is little to no movement in your paycheck except for a select group. No Bonus' for Some Mid Managers while others are killing it...

I worked at Toro Company as an intern (less than an year)

    Pros

Gained broad experience with finance and MS Excel.

    Cons

Toro uses the internship program to fill a need in the summer rather than develop future employees. No full-time offers are made to interns after graduation. Few job openings are created and mainly arise from an old employee leaving

I have been working at Toro Company full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

Toro identifies individuals with potential to be promoted and gives them the tools to succeed. There is very low turnover at the company as people take pride in what they do and who they work for. They take care of their employees and management is accessible all the way up to the CEO. They are quick to reward success.

    Cons

Toro is not quick to terminate employment, even if some people deserve it. You may find yourself picking up the slack.
