    Pros

the President left and there are new people in place. We went from super micro management to hands off approach. Family work balance has changed and we get to go home happy rather than thinking we will lose of jobs in the morning. This has become a better place to work.

    Cons

No clear direction from management on whats next in the life of a TD employee. Look within before looking out to hire.

    Advice to Management

Look inside before looking outside to hire.

    Pros

Training program is extensive and very informative

    Cons

Product quality lacking with unrealistic sales goals. More interested in high volume of short calls than quality of the calls. Very heavy forecasting required.

Worst Company I have ever come across

    Pros

Free Coffee. That is about it..

    Cons

Absolute disaster of a company. Originally the former security software division of Computer associates. The company has been in free fall since private equity bought the company. Every product the company offers is terrible. Terrible! They are currently offering a cloud based product that consistently goes down (stops working), despite guarantees to customers that the product will remain working 99.999999% of the time. Every company using TD's products are unhappy, so sales force is constantly dealing with pissed off customers. Total Defense expects sales force to sell to enterprise level accounts which is un-relaistic considering the products are terrible, the customer support is India based (I-yogi), and is a disaster..Level 1 support. Also, if you do reasearch on the comapny you will find nothing but negative reviews... Employees are treated like crap. Management uses pressure tactics in an attempt to motivate employees. No one in the company is happy. Sales force is not supported by mgmt. Only time that mgmt interacts with sales force is to complain Most unprofessional mgmt staff I have ever come across Lot of turnover. Complete waste of time. If i could give this company negative stars...I would

    Advice to Management

I can't give advice to mgmt because they shouldn't be managers in the first place. They manage by pressuring sales force and belittling them. They also give sales force unrealistic quotas, and not one person in company has exceeded quota.

    Pros

50k base + comm applebees across the street. the scene next door .thats it lol

    Cons

Mgmt is all over the sales force..employees are treated like children Mgmt's focus is on coming up with new ways to make sure the sales force is making as many dials as humanly possible metrics 100 calls a day Recorded phone calls Micro-mgmt (big time!!!!) every product the company has brought to market has been a disaster customer support for customers is india based and is an embarrassment leaving before 6pm is frowned upon Mgmt doesnt train employees and isnt around to support sales team during the day.. unattainable quotas not one sales person has beaten quota...not one

    Advice to Management

Get a clue! Come up with a strategy and stick with it. Put more emphasis on product development and customer support...and not only on micro managing the sales force

    Pros

Staff that I worked with all had to be strong together

    Cons

Poor management, Poor after sales (or non existent after sales service) Bully tactics used by one former manager to get staff to do what he wanted them to do. Totally negative tactics to use when your staff are trying to sell a product that had worked well for the former company that it was acquired from. Work life did not exist at this company. Asking for a holiday was like you were cheating on them.
