    Professional in Semiconductor

Anonymous Employee (Former Employee) Newport Beach, CA

ProsGood place to learn new skills, new knowledge ( because you are the one to drive almost everything, then gain experience by doing it ). As long as you are self-motivated, you can grow very fast ( technically )

ConsPoor compensation. Career growth wise, too static, not rewarding, can be discouraging.
Sometimes, it seems to be too political for a small company like this.

Advice to Senior ManagementLong term vision in investing in, cultivating and maintaining talents.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend

    Challenging, Frustrating, demotivating.

Engineer (Current Employee) Newport Beach, CA

ProsStill getting a paycheck. The work itself is high tech and quite interesting. Too bad the cons are increasing.

ConsResources keep dwindling. Resources as in pay, needed equipment to get the job done, IT, quality, people. Management is still not aligned. Documentation is getting worse. Blame game is rampant. Cover-ups, character assassinations, perception driven rather than data driven. Efficiency is replaced with dynamic initiative changes on a dime. Projects initiated get dropped halfway so you spend most of your time starting over in a new direction or initiative. Training and learning opportunities not possible due to lack of money and time. Meetings are unstructured and chaotic.

Advice to Senior ManagementOpen your eyes to how many employees are dissatisfied with the current state of management attitude and dynamics. The ability to demotivate is becoming unprecedented. Feels like a political war zone. Some employees need to have a true sense of accomplishment as their motivation and despise how the overly inflated the politics is interfering on a hourly basis and nullifying any true work.
