    Pros

Exciting job opportunity that keeps you on your toes. Good pay depending on months of employment and the location that you work at. Really enjoyed my coworkers.

    Cons

Upper management tends to breathe down your back and often make the job more difficult than it needs to be. If its not broken - don't fix it.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Continue to value the work of GSA's.

I worked at Towne Park part-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Schedules can be flexible and it was not difficult to get time off to study

    Cons

Different locations have different clientele so income is often very different depending on the property you work at. Shifts at the same property can vary in income as well. If you are constantly given less favorable shifts it can be frustrating.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Pay attention to your employees work habits, often a few at a busy location do the majority of the work while other just enjoy the tips they bring in.

    Pros

very flexible and tips can be amazing

    Cons

Full time emp, will have no life outside of work. you will never get a promotion unless you are friends with the upper staff. The chance of you gettig a promotion is very slim to none.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Listen to other Emp. Dont have a God complex, where the management always have the best ideas. Stop allowing for the all the stress in the upper management to effect the whole site......

I have been working at Towne Park

    Pros

You're coworkers are awesome, what is expected of you is clear and communicated to you, big company with a small company feel. The client is great and others looking for a valet or cashier position are recommended to apply. Not all valet companies are created equal, however Towne Park is definitely the first place to stop if you are interested in pursuing this line of work.

    Cons

It is sometimes hard to understand what exactly your role is but management is understanding and makes an effort to provide feedback and constructive criticism.

    Pros

You could work at other sites

    Cons

The hours while started out to be full time were not they were all over the place you might 24 this week and 50 next week it was hard trying to raise a family on this income.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Please get your scheduling together and better training methods it will avoid so many people quitting and it will possibly avoid damage to vehicles.

I have been working at Towne Park full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

You can make good money because of gratuities. You get to drive every type of automobile. You get good exercise from running and from lifting luggage. Some hotel properties provide a shift meal. You get great customer service experience.

    Cons

At certain hotel properties your base pay is below minimum wage, so you must work very hard to receive tips so that you can make a decent hourly wage. You must iron your uniform everyday. Wake up at 5:30am to make a 6:30am shift. In the 21st century you must adhere to obsolete military dress code standards such as maintaining a boring "professional business-like" hair style, shaving sideburns right at your earlobe level, shaving everyday and only being allowed to have a mustache, passing a drug test, passing a background check, possessing no visible tattoos, not wearing jewelry, standing for 8.5 hours and facing the constant scrutiny of ten bosses above you. Many different bosses will make your life miserable as they obsess over every detail of your job and make you feel like a piece of garbage every day. You may not use your cell phone at work for fear of being written-up and hotel security may confiscate it. "You're hair is too long, you're shirt is wrinkled, you're mustache looks bad, you're new shoes you bought aren't completely black so you can't wear them." You must work overnights and barely make minimum wage. Management act like they are doing you a favor when you request time off, although there is no paid time off. The company is run by a greedy oligarchy of old white males who think they can exploit minorities, the young, and the poor workers beneath them.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Pay substantially above minimum wage and your workers would be less inclined to quit so quickly. You're laughing all the way to the bank because you guys can charge $30 per night to valet a car, but the cat is out of the bag: management produces nothing and exploits workers below by barely paying above minimum wage. We have to hustle to make tips so that we make minimum wage. This company once had PTO (paid time off) but those days are over for the lowly valet. Wake up. Be better people. But, that may be too much to ask of low-life scum like you.

    Pros

Got to help people out. Reasonable starting pay.

    Cons

Got promoted to supervisor. No further raises, bonus, or Paid time off for 2.5 years. Kept promising upward movement to keep me there. Had to finally throw in the towel and quit. Also the management treats its employees poorly, they also under-staff and don't buy supplies, and dont give raises so they can get larger bonuses

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

My account manager was terrible. Employees were threatened, no one ever got a raise even though we were top in the area. The main goal for our manager was to cut hours and not buy anything so he could get his large yearly bonus.

I worked at Towne Park part-time (more than an year)

    Pros

It was fun working with a team of valets and together with the hotel. They also worked very well with my school schedule!

    Cons

The pay is low with no raises. When the hotel had events, the stress and chaos was through the roof because there was no organization.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Treat your workers like adults, not young punk kids not good enough for the real world.

    Pros

direct management was great to work with if they let you do your work instead of hovering waiting for you to screw up

    Cons

Company has too much over head wanting more money so they come down hard as if the valet business isn't fluid enough.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

give your employees something to work for.
