Pros
Learning culture, vibrant environment, regional exposure
Cons
One of the downside is long working hours
Pros
The place is really laid back and they allow room for advancement. They do treat everyone like family and do not want to see anyone leave. When stepping into this business I thought had the impression that there was no money to be had. This business thrives and really wants its employees to as well. If you make money you make the company money .
Cons
Hours can vary and expect to work weekends. Customers are always needing help because you will work with an older clientale base. However, they do accomodate if you work more hours to take off also. There is going to be some down time.
Advice to Senior Management
Management here are like your friends which really seems to work with everyone. They could not just hire anyone because no everyone could work with such freedom. They treat their employees like adults.
Pros
nice people, hard working but would like to get more closure
Cons
no understanding of advancement oppertunites, much less job prospects
Pros
Great organisation, unbelievable emphasis on details. People are really important and your voice can always be heard and they give a chance to young people
Cons
too many rules, that sometimes act as an obstacles for growth and change implementation and because of that sometimes they look slow and inefficient
Pros
Empowerment base organization which leads to leadership capability
Cons
Development to be more focused so that engagement is high
Advice to Senior Management
More development
Pros
The best workplace to learn Toyota Way , especially in continuous improvement , that let you apply it to any other field
Cons
They should improve communications between employee and HR division.
Pros
very good place to learn production systems and you can not only learn only about professionl things , you can also implement it in your personal life as well.
Cons
working under pressure always and difficult to manage perosnal life.
Pros
At beginning it seems very interesting to see / experience the "Toyota Way"
Cons
After while, it is impossible to go ahead in your carrier.
Advice to Senior Management
Lear how to give recognition and motivate people.
Pros
Great company to work for as an engineering co-op. Opportunities to develop many professional engineering and interpersonal skills. Toyota treats their co-ops as full-time engineers.
Cons
The experience largely depends on which department you are placed in and your mentor. Some co-ops have very rewarding experiences; others not so much. Work-life balance of full-time engineers seems to be poor.
Pros
International environment, using latest technologies, good level of team work, can get what you want but need to work for it to get approval, strong challenge mentality, opportunities to change functions within the company.
Cons
Many high barriers and layers to pass to get approval, difficult to go it alone without intervention from home division in Japan, working culture can sometime boarder on disrespect for people.
Advice to Senior Management
Don't always sit on the fence, have the vision to take decisions. Don't stick with the details without keeping the big picture in mind.
