    Pros

Good compensation, nice work environment, interesting work, opp to learn OTJ

    Cons

HR policies have no backbone. Leaders place no consequences on negative actions -- more emphasis placed on bottom dollars than on human 'resources'. To much nepotism leads to very political clique environment on some teams. Preference to hire more youthful individuals leads to a high degree of inexperience impacting overall team performance.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Place more women in leadership roles. Hire qualified experienced people and stop hiring your neighbors kid .. Provide all your leaders with a formal leadership training program throughout the organization. Enforce your corp policies and live your corporate values.

    Pros

I learned many new skills from working here. The people were absolutely helpful and the upper management was very supportive.

    Cons

Cubicles could have been set up better. I mean only one chair and no place for a visitor to sit. Speaker phone enabled for all cubicle users.

    Pros

They value family/vacation time. The moving packages for employees transferring locations is better than any other company I know. They have really good benefits, although the insurance plan is changing so the health benefits won't be as good as they used to be.

    Cons

Compensation is no great shakes. Promotions are few and far between. If you're not Canadian, you probably aren't going very far in this company.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

It's okay to let people do their jobs and trust them to make decisions. It's also okay to hold contractors responsible for their mistakes. Novel, I know.
