    ad no other option rather then working n transfield

    i got high blood pressure, discriminate, hip problem. they have not paid me for my annual leave after quitting

    Pros

    The people you work with are beautiful and will make you smile!

    Cons

    Management are horrible, and have a 'God' complex. HR do not care about the people employed in the workforce, and don't expect to be paid right for the first 12months!

    Advice to Management

    Listen to your people. Work with your bottom feeding employees, stop hiring people who are a lawsuit waiting to happen and don't get rid of your employess who have been there for 8years because of their gender!

    Very slow to act in times of need.

    Advice to Management

    if need something they should attend to the request as soon as possible. we understand they might be very busy at times but at least action should be done in a week not month/s.

    I have been working at Transfield Services full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Decent pay, good people, steady work. Jobs all over the country and the world. Good place to work.

    Cons

    The benefit package here is very weird. 1500 hours to get benefits is way too long. I've never heard of anything over 3 months before working here.

    Advice to Management

    I have no advice for the management. There are some old timers here who just don't like new people which is kinda dumb but that's my only complaint.

    Good work mates good pay and conditions

    All the rubbished that goes on with management and the way thy look after the yes men the managment dont know what is going on with workers they listern to on supervisor that if you dont get along with they get rid off you, they get rid of people who actually have an idea what is going on not just a mate of the boss

    Advice to Management

    Get rid of the management thatdoes look after mates and actually listern to all leading hand to get all the right workerfor the job not just get the yes boy and friends to stay because when they have to ramp up again good luck as they will have all the yes men that dont have any idea what to do.

    I worked at Transfield Services full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Good friendly management and staff. Management Listened to the staff and public regarding timetable issues, and worked on fixing them. Payed wages on time, and correctly. Purchased new vehicles, to replace old vehicles.

    Cons

    Split shifts, some old vehicles probably should not of remained in operation, causing breakdowns, these vehicles should of been replaced earlier.

    Advice to Management

    After the initial implementation of Light City Buses, and some major teething problems, I felt the company was moving along very well, and was in a good position to be the most efficient Bus Company in South Australia. I enjoyed my time there, and hope to return one day in the future.
