I have been working at Trantor

    Pros

    1. You work with technology enthusiasts
    2. Good Mentors
    3. Never seen such responsive leadership, not shy of working at root level yet never micro manage
    4. Good growth in last 2 years
    5. Value capabilities and not just years of experience
    6. Now the best - Excellent work culture. Never seen sr. management spend time with employees with such patience and guidance in any of my previous companies.

    Cons

    1. Compensation is good as per Chandigarh standards but not as compared to NCR & Bangalore
    2. No participation in technology conferences (not many companies do that, but would be good to have)
    3. Cafeteria needs more space

    3. Assistance on pursuing your own product ideas - startup incubator
    4. Just and fair management - Pradeep, Sriram and Rajat. They all respect excellence and are driven by reason.
    5. Freedom - You don't need to give face time. Your results speak. You are allowed to work from home too. Anything as long as your customers are happy and your project gets quality value worth 8 hours.

If you are an engineer who is ambitious, wants freedom, a just and reasonable management and great mentors, Trantor is the place to be.

    Cons

There has been some issues identified with middle management lately and Trantor as a whole is working towards fixing it.
