    Pros

They will promote from within in a short amount of time.

    Cons

They play favorites and HDQ has no idea whats going on in the call centers.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Pros

Fantastic work/life balance, great benefits & PTO offerings. Leadership loves what they do and who they work with which makes all the difference in the world

    Cons

Time it takes to get something done can be painful, you can have clients waiting on answers for a month before something gets resolved.

I have been working at Travelocity full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Worked with an incredible group of like-minded people who always did their best for the company. Company provides great benefits, ample time off for work/life balance and good communication.

    Cons

Sheltered from parent company and very little room for growth. Bad leadership resulted in loss of status in the marketplace and millions (if not billions) in lost revenue. Didn't have the ability to innovate fast enough and keep up with new technology.

    Pros

People are fun and also very professional, friendly environment to work with, very good work life balance, people are what makes this place amazing. Great work environment.

    Cons

Leadership had no clue, no sense of directions in bringing up the business and all along had plan to sell it

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I have been working at Travelocity full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Excellent benefits, great people and it's like family. The work is highly satisfying as we helped customers with their travel needs. Working in Operations we helped the agents with time off requests, attendance issues and scheduled meetings and trainings. We monitored call flow and made adjustments as needed. All satisfying work.

    Cons

The future is not bright, so many people have been let go. Loss of the.com aspect is now run by expedia, and that was the cause.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get new accounts and hire back the employees.

I have been working at Travelocity full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Incentives all around promoting positive work behaviors and results. Leadership team all came from the floor (some are seasoned and some are new). All have strengths that play off of each other to build the best team in travel.

    Cons

Often forgot about at the corporate level.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Former Employee - Associate, Software Development in Southlake, TX

I worked at Travelocity full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Team members are like family, relaxing atmosphere (most of the time), descent pay, good facility.

    Cons

A little more organization would be nice, although this is a problem with Sabre in general. Many layoffs have been occurring lately as a result of the agreement with Expedia.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Upper management should probably reevaluate their market strategy as competition from other travel companies continues to increase.

    Pros

Work / life balance, benefits not bad

    Cons

Too much turn over in the leadership

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Decide on a direction and stick to it. If something isn't working, tweek it. Don't scrap everything and start over from scratch.
