I worked at Travelport full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Many of the people are amazing.
The benefits are standard - health, dental, optical. Time off is also standard.
The Virtual nature of the job is great as it allows one to live and work where ever but it does create isolation.
Over the years in different departments I have had some fantastic bosses, but others have been just average.

    Cons

Worldspan is being phased out in favor of Apollo in the US.
There is not much push to advance, if you want a promotion you better be self motivated.

    Neutral Outlook

I worked at Travelport part-time for less than a year

    Pros

Very structured working environment. Great mentors, employees, ect...

    Cons

Very slow to do anything or make necessary changes.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The company is undergoing some change to hire younger folks directly out of their internship programs. It's unfortunate that management is falling victims of hiring the more extroverted individuals who have significantly lower morals and values than those who are more reserved with higher values and morals.
