    I worked at Trelleborg part-time

    Pros

Great work with some bright minds, really like the leadership there. Compensation for work is very adequate. Made me feel right at home right away.

    Cons

Slow growth opportunities. Not everyone is on the same page it seems as far as the engineers, however, this is at a minimum.

Work long hours, completed many projects and even covered both shifts to be "let go" for no logical reason

I worked at Trelleborg full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

Was able to work one to one with General Manager. Able to input ways of going forward with company. Believed I was an important influence with the company.

    Cons

Company had older workers from other bankrupt plants that believed that their way was the only way. Pushing change was impossible when older workers did not support. Pay was lower then most other companies in the area. Training was all oral until work instructions were created. Office culture was fine until a month ago when it turned cold.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Fine personnel was hired but advise is cast aside if differs from the General Manager. Better pay, training and time off needs to improve to get more qualified and stable personnel.

    Pros

Really good employees, decent benefits and bonus.

    Cons

Management wants to provide an exceptional service to customers but fails on execution. They hire the right people in management but then do not allow these people to improve the business.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Stay away from band-aid solutions.

    I worked at Trelleborg full-time

    Pros

They are a small business unit that is part of a massive international organization. There are a few good people there, though they are not as good as they were when they started.

    Cons

There is a terribly political climate there that either corrupts or chases off good people. The Managing Director is a wicked person with a great smile and charming personality. He encourages internal competition and will cast you aside on a whim.

I have been working at Trelleborg full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Good benefits and pay with the right experience but read " right experience" - they can be elitest. TOUS does have a few good managers and I do mean FEW.

    Cons

Bad case of cronyism. Little room for growth unless you are part of an elite inner circle. Qualified people let go and mgmt friends stay. As a manager myself, my collegues don't hold back when speaking of their friends being spared.

Trelleborg allows rouge players to drive morale to the lowest depths. HR operates heavy handed and with bias - they don't allow facts to get in their way. I've lost some good people over the last year and am developing an escape plan for myself.
