I worked at Triad Retail Media full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Work with great big brands And company continues to grow quickly. May still be worth a shot to work there.

    Cons

Underpaid compared to industry standards. Even if you hit your sales goals your job can still be at risk if you're not buddies with management. They seem to be behind with digital capabilities.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Appreciate employees onsite as well as offsite equally. Advancement and job security should not be dependent on relationship.

I have been working at Triad Retail Media as a contractor (more than a year)

    Pros

Company strives to be progressive, and offer good benefits and employee perks.

    Cons

Poor training, cumbersome processes, overwhelmed leadership.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Implement an official consistent training program that allows new employees to learn best practices, rather than rely on team leads who are already overwhelmed with their own responsibilities, and uneducated on how to train others.

    Pros

    Remote employees were well supported.

    Cons

Too many layers of people and process to move quickly.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Outsource your production work to a variety of approved freelancers. The overhead to keep that large of a production team inflated cost and made the product not as appealing to buyers as it could have been.

I worked at Triad Retail Media full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

    - The office culture is fun
    - There is plenty of opportunity for those who work hard
    - It's a great place for young people to get some experience
    - The former founder and CEO is not at the helm of the company.

    Cons

    - Long hours with archaic processes
    - Old school, retail mentality with a sales force to back it. Where's the innovation? Where's the technology?
    - The politics... stifles innovation.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Expose your younger people in all departments to your retailer / brand clients. Consider adding training that explains what a brand manager does and how Triad helps them manage their brand. Do this for all departments, not just sales.

I have been working at Triad Retail Media (less than a year)

    Pros

Account Managers and creative teams work hard and are helpful. Compensation was good on the front end.

    Cons

Management is terrible. They have all been there a long time and have gotten promoted because they have been there a long time. The company doesn't understand that good salespeople do not always make good managers and it this case, they are down right AWFUL: very, passive/aggressive, no support,, etc. This is the worst company I have ever encountered. Goals and expectations are completely unrealistic. RUN FAST.

I worked at Triad Retail Media full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Several young talented people. It is a good place for first time job seeker. I accepted this job with big pay cut during the bad job market and I was happy that I have the job until I started to work there.

    Cons

Low pay with not great benefit. Some of the senior managers were so pity who interfered themselves on everything. They didn't treat employees well. Even CEO sent nasty emails to all employees and threated them to be fired if they can not do what he was asking for. Many folks with big titles didn't have any authorities at all. I was so miserable at this company that I left this full time job with 6 months contract job with no benefit with another company and that was a great decision on my side.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Provide professional training to your executive managements on how to be professionals and treat employees better.

I worked at Triad Retail Media full-time

    Pros

    Good client roster
    Nice headquarters
    Decent compensation

    Cons

You may want to stay longer to see if it get's better after the first month but don't. The company overall is mired in layers of management and process. They brought on all these VPs, EVPs, etc and I had no idea what they do.

To get anything done, you need to play within the system but it's never good when internally, there's a "them vs us" attitude. We're on the same team right?

Sold me in on the potential and when I signed, soon realized that not much was going on. What's the point of a good client roster if you're hamstrung on every decision?

Managers chronically cancelled meetings last minute. That's just poor work etiquette. When they did show up, they rarely provided the guidance and mentorship needed.

Monetary compensation was satisfactory only when you consider the weak vacation, retirement, and other benefits.

Headquarters seems better in terms of culture since you're exposed to many more teams and can take advantage of benefits. Satellite offices feel like essentially skeleton crews.
