Pros
Lot of challenges ( I mean apart from technical challenges) , we recruit best people. There is no big difference between being a fresher and director in this company.
Cons
you spend nights because some crappy build system doesn't work. People spend most of the time doing mundane things thinking they are the challenging tasks to do
Advice to Senior Management
Retain good people , not just AH.
Pros
Lots of Freedom, Flexi work timings, High bar of quality people, good salary, high bonus if your business unit is successful and earns more than 70% for the CEO Joe Liemandt
Cons
24 hrs a day not enoguh to complete ur tasks, folks in US always assume India team is dispensable while the converse could be more true , If you just work 8 hrs while meeting your responsibilities you are an average performer, if you worked 36 hrs continously at times and log at 15-16 hrs a day you are good performer
Advice to Senior Management
oDESK or gDEV will never be successful, poor quality under paid workers can never match delivery, speed , commitment of internal team members
Pros
Great Atmosphere for self motivators and folks love to work independently, Highly technical staff, Good Salaries
Cons
Useless senior management, they work like dictators, No business acumen, Chaotic and ad-hoc in strategies, Poor planning and absolutely no vision, Almost zero Communications and team interactions, No tangible growth plans for employees, Low belongingness & affinity towards organization
Advice to Senior Management
Treat your employees like an asset, Build affinity and loyalty, have long term goals and visions, Plan, Strategies, and Align business and employees, Build communication channels (TWO WAY!!!) and stop mentioning statements like..its a Joe's company...this certainly brings the employee morale down.
Pros
People in Trilogy experience a fast track career growth, where big responsibilities are given very early in the career. Trilogy also provides the opportunity to work with the best minds in the industry - the stringent recruitment process ensures that only the best people are hired in the company. Compensation is also pretty good, and comparable to the best in the industry. The company has a very open culture - in-fact we have a online forum where people in the company and raise concerns and ask questions to the senior management, and the senior management promptly answers the questions/concerns.
Cons
The high amount of responsibility given at Trilogy comes with a price - long working hours. Also, rapidly changing priorities and direction make it a challenge to work here.
Advice to Senior Management
The senior management should make more efforts to retain people.
