    Uncertain Future

    Senior Associate (Current Employee)
    Atlanta, GA

ProsGreat benefits, good culture, work life balance is attainable.
Trimont allows for a relaxed atmosphere, where employees are allowed some discretion in their time commitment. The culture is respectful towards its employees and positively benevolent.

ConsBelow market salaries, uncertain future, few growth opportunities –Since the loss of the client Lehman Brothers, the firm has struggled to find comparably paying clients and is floundering with its identity. The firm originally focused on real estate complex finance, but now endeavors to do anything in the RE world from essentially property management to small balance collections. The firm is now focused defining its role in the commercial real estate space, but what that currently and succinctly is at the current time, I couldn’t say.

    A good place to start

    Financial Advisor (Current Employee)
    Atlanta, GA

ProsYou will be exposed to a wide variety of assets and capital structures which is rare in an entry level position. There are a lot of young people in the financial analyst role, so if you are coming right out of college it is a fun place to work.

ConsNot a lot of growth potential and the work can become monotonous. I worked in the asset management department as an analyst and learned a lot, but it is a lot of number crunching.

Advice to Senior ManagementManagement was always good to its employees and treated them fairly. The benefits were great, but unfortunately this past year the company had to lay off a large number of employees.
