I worked at Trinity University full-time

    Pros

    Most faculty colleagues are supportive

    Cons

The President & Provost of the University are impossible to work with, resulting in a very uncomfortable & unhealthy working environment. Staff are FORCED to accept all students & faculty are forced to pass all students. Students & the government are robbed of financial aid because students are unable to pass licensure exams and unable to get a job. Something should be done with this unethical & evil University.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get rid of the President & Provost of the University and hire people that are ethical.

I have been working at Trinity University full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Trinity is a great place to work with a supportive office culture in each and every office. Close to downtown, beautiful campus, and they truly care about their employees.

    Cons

Salaries aren't great, there is a bit of an "us vs. them" mentality between some departments. Not a lot of room for growth here. Don't always get the recognition you deserve.

I have been working at Trinity University part-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Friendly environment, good pay. Bosses at the ITS are extremely cool individuals and nice people. We usually talk about TV shows because everyone in the office shares the love for breaking bad and Dexter, etc. The work schedule is flexible. You get to work with the smartest students (and sometimes professors) in addition to the staff.

    Cons

Limited opportunities. Trinity is a college, therefore there are limited chances of promotion and other opportunities within the college.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

keep up with IT to work more efficiently and save money.

I have been working at Trinity University part-time (more than a year)

    Pros

The scholarship was very helpful in paying for Grad school. I enjoyed working my professor and helping with his reasearch projects.

    Cons

    Grading tests was rather unpleasant.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I would advise management to consider using scantrons.

I worked at Trinity University full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

It might not be bad if you are white, male, and don't care about salary

    Cons

It's corrupt and abuses its faculty. It cares nothing of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, and does nothing to protect women. My experience was a disaster, and the University did nothing to help me after years of sexual harassment. This is just one problem: others are too numerous to mention here.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Study up on the foundational principles that all reputable schools protect, for example tenure and due process.

    Pros

    Learning, understanding technology, good people

    Cons

Somewhat boring at times, but good experience

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

  11. Over the long term, it has been good, but it has diminished over time.

I have been working at Trinity University

    Pros

Great colleagues, interesting students, supportive staff, excellent retirement benefits and tuition exchange for family members.

    Cons

Less than optimal compensation with regards to salary and fringe benefits for faculty and staff.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Please make the issues of faculty and staff compensation with regards to salary and fringe benefits a high priority. It's my sense that Trinity has the resources to make significant improvements, it just hasn't been a high priority for the President, Executive staff, and the Board of Trustees.
