Current Employee – been working at Triple Canopy full-time for more than 3 years
Pros – The work schedule is very flexible and the atmosphere is great! The Senior leadership has changed over the last few years but not drastically and the core principles/values have stayed consistent. Everyone is down to earth and really loves coming to work every day. I have worked for various government contractors in the area and none of them compare to the generosity and pleasant treatment Triple Canopy gives to their employees.
Cons – Single scope of work. The company currently is geared directly toward physical security in foreign countries, with the government reducing forces in these countries we have been forced to look at new opportunities which does'nt feel secure for long term job security.
Advice to Senior Management – Continue to do a great job inspiring employees and don't change your down to earth personalities or atmosphere.
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company

Current Employee – been working at Triple Canopy full-time for more than a year
Pros – They plan as best as they can in this business. If you have a specialty skill, medic, DDM, terp you are much better off.
Cons – Its PMC contract work, so you always have the ever present uncertainty looming over you. Visa crisis is always problem. Moved around to lots of different teams.
Advice to Senior Management – Be a little more open with your employees. were not all knuckle draggers.

Current Employee – been working at Triple Canopy
Pros – Everyone at the company is smart and great to work with. Bagels, donuts, or sandwiches every Friday, plus company breakfasts once a month. Pay is very good. Inter-department relations are excellent. Benefits are great - health, dental, vision, 401K, etc.
Cons – This is a business and if you are not comfortable realizing that some things are done for a profit, then you may not be comfortable here. The hours can be long sometimes, but you are engrossed in your work and it goes quickly.
Advice to Senior Management – Verbal affirmations that employees are doing well are always welcome.

Former Employee – worked at Triple Canopy full-time for more than a year
Pros – Decent Logistics compared to their competition.
Cons – Triple Canopy seems to have a difficult time getting rid of task order / site/ country managers that are either incompetent or corrupt.
Pay & benefits kept getting reduced.
"Good old boy" syndrome.
Advice to Senior Management – Pay a LOT more attention to your lowest tier supervisors.
Don't hire Ugandan street punks as contract guards.
Corporate oversight of country managers and others needs improvement.

Current Employee – been working at Triple Canopy as a contractor for more than a year
Pros – A steady paycheck when you get in theater eventually.
On site medical and dental to take care of specific needs.
Cons – You get double billed for medical processing at Adderbury.
The contract is good but the wrong people have been in charge. They lack proper tempering and leadership training.
Little to no days off. There are guards that have work 100 plus days with no days off.
Pay is below industry standard.
There is a major disconnect between corporate headquarters and chain of command on the ground.
Advice to Senior Management – SOG's have to be E6 or above or have worked as a contractor for 3 years min. This has not been the case. Next leadership cannot be from the first 3 classes.

Former Employee – worked at Triple Canopy
Pros – When working on the commercial side you had great leadership and were taken care of.
Cons – When working on the DoS side you had to watch your back from your own teammates and it seemed that mindset was pushed down from management.
Advice to Senior Management – Take control back from DoS.
