Pros – Working for Dept of Labor Contract can have perks. Salary Decent. Smaller number of employees.
Cons – Payroll and some holidays not always paid correctly. Will take a while for a new person to become tenured in the applications being supported. Not enough employee recognition.
Advice to Senior Management – Their is a point where you reach a glass ceiling for advancement early. Best option is to use educational funds...get certified..then go elsewhere.
