A safe and stable environment

I have been working at TrueCredit

ProsVery good benefits. Y1 - 2 weeks, Y5 - 3 weeks, Y10 - 4 weeks, Y25 - 5 weeks.
Matching 401k. Things are easy here.

ConsVery similar to working at an well established firm. The level of change is minimal. While that can be a pro it is also a negative. The environment is fairly bare-bones regarding staffing. Everything runs well but there is not much coverage.

You're better off looking elsewhere for long term employment

I have been working at TrueCredit

ProsThe individual contributors and lower level managers are very good at what they do and consistently deliver high quality work. The atmosphere is very relaxed and inclusive with most folks socializing outside of work. Healthcare benefits are pretty good; in fact, better than most in the area.

ConsSome senior managers have a track record of chopping off the heads or marginalizing anyone who questions, decisions, or opinions. Generally speaking, senior management doesn't replace those who leave in frustration, they outsource the vacancy to contactors in India. Decisions come down from above and are rarely inclusive and accountability is arbitrary and selective.

Advice to Senior ManagementFind out who your best people are and develop them into leaders. Most would rise to the challenge. Consider rotating the current senior management team out.
