    Pros

its a job...that doesn't pay enough nor give you enough hours to compensate. a single person struggles to survive off their paycheck with this company.if you've got a family, forget about it.
but if your down and out right now...it's a job and its a paycheck...

    Cons

its a low wage dead end job.its literally meant to be a stepping stone or an in-between job.there is no future with this company.full of false promises.EXTREMELY GREEDY COMPANY.DOES NOT CARE ABOUT NOR TAKE CARE OF THEIR EMPLOYEES.TRAINING,EQUIPMENT,SYSTEMS ALL OUT DATED OBSOLETE AND BEHIND THE CURVE.

    Advice to Management

your turnover wouldn't be so high if you actually cared about and adequately paid your employees.and i mean all the employees not just general managers and district mangers.i suggest particularly taking a long hard look at the treatment of your assistant managers.their pay, hours, responsibilities is just unbelievably pathetic.being on call 24/7/365 for 9.10/hr?thats just downright unethical.

    Pros

If you have no job, this place does give you a paycheck.

    Cons

That paycheck isn't going very far.

    Advice to Management

I can understand you paying the cashiers a pittance (i.e. minimum wage) but what you pay your assistant managers is an extremely unfunny joke (i.e. one dollar over an hour over minimum wage). These people handle thousands of dollars a day for you and are trained (and most end up doing) everything the store managers do.

  7. Good people, Long hours, Bad pay

I worked at Truenorth part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The people you work with varies by store I'm sure, but my coworkers were nice enough. The place was clean and everyone took pride it that.

    Cons

Some employees had just got caught stealing and the management didn't trust many people after that happened.

  8. Demoted for standing up for myself and others

    Pros

other employes are welcoming and kind.
    actual work is very easy.

    Cons

mgmt is lazy or slow (rushing)
tech in the stores is from the stone age and as a result workers are asked to do paper work that often takes you past your shift and you will not be paid for this time corporate management deals with payroll and they alter your punch in and out times as they please

    Advice to Management

get new management it is the main reason that this company is lacking
