I have been working at Truman Arnold as a contractor (less than a year)

    Pros

    They have pretty decent benefits.

    Cons

Management training is confusing. They will tell you to do one thing and then turn around and get upset with you the next day for doing what you are told. Instead of being helpful when you ask for help they get irritated and tell you not to worry about it. They will not tell you what the office rules are until you make mistakes. And no vacation the first year.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

If there are two people overseeing one person then those two people should be on the same exact page. It is confusing to the employee to have two people who are not on the same page training an employee, and when that happens the employee cannot complete the tasks given to him/her the right way.

    Pros

Tips. You will occasionally receive tips from customers for taking their bags or fueling the plane.
    Safety bonuses are nice.

    Cons

    No chance for advancement.
Management does not care about their employees at all.
Management has their favorites. These people receive preferential treatment.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Take care of your employees. Don't be about the bottom dollar. Look after the people who are working for you.

    Pros

ALWAYS HIRING GREAT SHORT TERM EMPLOYMENT

    Cons

NOT FAMILY ORIENTED, don't care about you or your personal life. Not treated with respect.
Should be short term employment until you find something better

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Do you really know whats going on? Maybe its time to start asking questions

I worked at Truman Arnold full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Willing to work with you on family emergencies, however local management is a different story.

    Cons

Wanting you to work all hours without prior notice and won't hire people to make not only their business grow but keep the present employers where they can enjoy their family.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Need to hire more employees to keep the stress off the ones that you have. Also better training on computers and new programs.

I have been working at Truman Arnold

    Pros

Getting to be outdoors and active makes the time pass quickly. Most of the employees are reliable and work well as a team. Very friendly work environment.

    Cons

The level of pay was low compared to the amount of stress and pressure to perform flawlessly. There was minimal opportunity for promotional opportunities within the company. Employee retention is very low. New hires frequently come and go.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Raise the starting pay and quality workers will have an incintive to continue employment. Hire more lineman to allow for rotation of weekends off.

I have been working at Truman Arnold

    Pros

Tips and monthly safety bonus. Get to work with airplanes and see celebrities. Salary is ok but not on par with the rest of the industry.

    Cons

No respect. People are treated like dogs by management. Management has no clue about what goes on after they leave at three in the afternoon.
