Advice to Senior Management

i think it is my fellow employee most have become like family members.
Cons
upper management does not try to talk to the employees to see what could make the work place more better.
Advice to Senior Management
stop taking stuff away from us!! give us a reason again to be proud to work for trump properties. you keep taking from us and it is bringing us all down and making us feel like crap like we are just a number. it's not fair to the thousands of us who have been there since day 1.
Pros
Unique product, good geographical location, strong brand name, complimentary use of on-site cafeteria, very limited bureaucracy. Only those who choose to participate in the office politics are burdened by them. Team of dedicated staff and workforce with many years of experience. Generally friendly environment.
Cons
Compensation pays on the lower end of what is considered fair market value for many positions. Office closings force mandatory usage of vacation and personal days. No 401k matching and overall benefits packages is very standard. Limited to no bonus opportunity.
Advice to Senior Management
This organization is in desperate need of fresh young talent and new ways of thinking. Executive management needs to fully appreciate the opportunity that exists in expanded retail and non-gaming amenities. Hire top-level talent out of leading organizations (Pepsi, Universal, Target, Disney) and apply strong marketing practices across the enterprise to enhance product offering and revenue generation. Otherwise this organization (and many other operators in Atlantic City) are doomed to repeat in cycles of the past.
Pros
the sous chefs treat there employees with respect and are fair with there reasoning.
management treated me with respect most of the time and was willing to give some freedom.
Cons
Atlantic cities business has suffered becauseof leagalized gambleing in pensylvania. The taj
started cutting back on everything and forget about getting a raise.I know presently that they are going through a bankruptcy and alot of key people are gone.
Advice to Senior Management
I really can`t say any thing to critacle for the most part I was treated fairly.I know that executive chef had left the taj he could be quite arogant at times and insulting.
Pros
Very fun environment. The company provided with me with my first job. I was very grateful and had little to no complications while employed with them.
Cons
Sometimes the employees were lazy. Others worked harder than others. Either way, it didn't really affect my job performance. It was just annoying.
Advice to Senior Management
Establish more incentives to your employees. Motivation is the key to success. I was employed with them in 2006, so things may have changed. However, I did like the incentive of getting paid 50 cents for each car you parked.
